Thanks to the dedicated people at Standard Innovations Corporation in Canada, the bunch behind the innovative We-Vibe, we’ve been busy! – Well, when I say busy… I really mean; we’ve been *blipping* non-stop for days, running the brand new We-Vibe 3 through our very ‘rigorous’ paces. – Of course, it’s been very hard and demanding work, and it’s all – without question – just so we can let you guys know if this little purple vibe is really worth all the hype or not *cough*

To say I was pretty excited knowing the new We-Vibe 3 was winging its way towards us would be putting it mildly… The We-Vibe and We-Vibe II has pretty much revolutionized couples toys – and all, it seems, in just a few short years since the first hit the shelves a couple of years ago. That one definitely landed with a thunderous boom! – And before anyone, really, had a chance to fathom what happened, the We-Vibe – and quickly followed by it’s sequel, the We-Vibe II – marched on to become the fastest selling adult product in history. From high and mighty Oprah, and countless other celebs and magazines, to the entire sex toy blogosphere – reviewers and followers alike – the verdict seemed pretty solid; The We-Vibes were undeniably winners! And in hindsight, why wouldn’t they be? Here was a quality product giving women clit and G-spot stimulation – all in one package – during sex. – And at the same time letting men have a piece of the action – with some titillating and oh-so-bloody-nice vibrations along the shaft and glans as well. So knowing that, and having been there and done that, though only with We-Vibe II, excited would be putting it mildly indeed!

The We-Vibe 3 arrived in an oval shaped hard cardboard can, looking rather tame for all the power it was supposed to hold. I mean, this rather nice looking – and very glossy – can, could just as easily have been a new razor or electric toothbrush. Held secure inside is the hard plastic shell of the outer white storage case of We-Vibe 3, and underneath that we find a small warranty and instruction leaflet and the charger. The white storage case is awesome! It looks elegant and really cool… Pulling the top off, and we finally get to our price; a new purple upgrade. – Red and Green is also an option, should you so choose instead. The bottom of the storage case doubles as a charging base station for We-Vibe 3, and nestled snug between the prongs of the toy is the remote. It really looks great! – Obviously, a lot of thought and brainpower has been put into this whole elegant look and feel, and I really like it! It’s very classy and very stylish.

We-Vibe 3, though internally re-vamped, re-engineered and 40% upgraded in shear power alone, is on the outside quite as we know it from our We-Vibe II. – Only thing different in fact, is where it used to say We-Vibe II – slightly embossed in the soft silicone – it now says We-Vibe 3. – And that’s a good thing! A lot of what made We-Vibe II great was the size, shape and feel – so why mess with it? It also means, that the millions already owning and enjoying a We-Vibe II, will need no time – and have no trouble – ‘adjusting’ to a new toy in bed.

The toy is, as you see it on the picture, a small horseshoe. Externally completely encased in 100% lead-free, phthalate-free, medical-grade silicone. – Obviously meaning the toy is also 100% waterproof. – Something my Other Half has been ‘testing’ with delight for hours in the tub and shower. – After which We-Vibe 3 simply recharges by placing the toy back in the base station, let it sit for a few hours, and you’re ready to go again. – Which is a brilliant green approach I really dig. – So does my Other Half. Hehe…

Our We-Vibe 3 came with a charge, though I didn’t really pay to much attention as to just how much of a charge it was, as I was… ehmm… charging myself. You see; my mermaid of a girl was getting ready for a shower when We-Vibe 3 arrived… You know where this is going, don’t you? Yeah, I barely had time to unbox the thing, notice a charge – which I must have mumbled aloud – before I heard a squeal of glee, a tug and a push, and apparently I was having a shower as well… I understand the excitement of course. – We’ve had… well, I can’t even… countless hours of fun with We-Vibe II, so excitement was running a bit high in both of us.

She quickly slid We-Vibe 3 home – being constantly horny and wet has advantages (We-Vibes really works best if you’re a really wet girl, in the water, with plenty of water-based lube and so on). As I lifted her up and slid in, got comfortable in my own position, I turned on the We-Vibe 3 with a simple click on the remote – which is, of course, also waterproof, and it was immediately a whole new experience for the both of us! Now, the one thing you can’t do with We-Vibe 3, you can’t scale the strength of vibrations. – When it’s on, it’s ON. – Either 3000 rpm on low! or 5500 rpm on high!! Yeah, I know… There are four dancing settings outside these two, giving your a total of six settings to play with. The motors are placed in each hugging end of the toy. First time it’s some experience, let me tell you. – With 40% more powerful motors – both running pretty darn silent – it’s REALLY something! Of course, the groan and moan from my Other Half spurred me on, and off we went. We now have several positions we’ve found works really well, with We-Vibe 3 in the shower. My Other Half’s favorite probably being a sort of standing doggy style – firm grip on the fixtures, with the water pummeling her back as if a soft warm flogging sensation.

For a man, having a toy like We-Vibe 3 is a test of… well, either character or strength, really. – The willpower you need to NOT come is pretty crazy. The vibrations through the soft silicone, slick from juices, bombarding my cock with each penetrating stoke. Bloody hell! Luckily the We-Vibe 3 had my Other Half come equally quick, because I was hyperventilation, seeing pinprick stars in front of my eyes and just generally doing my gawd damn damndest not to come before she did. When finally able to switch the toy off, with the remote, we both just dropped in a heap on the floor in our shower and looked at each other through this post-orgasmic haze. Groggy from the flood of endorphins, there was really nothing to do but just relax under the warm water. – Nothing we could do.

So to those just waiting for this: YES, you feel the 40% increase. Honest, to whomever is up there, my Other Half gave our We-Vibe II to one of her girl friends about half an hour after this first field test of We-Vibe 3…

But, of course, that was just our first experience with We-Vibe 3, and we’ve done … extensive … ‘testing’ ever since. We’ve done the public eating out and going to the movies fun as well, with We-Vibe 3 in place and me in control of the remote – Which has her horny as some she-banshee in heat when we get home. – I have the scratch marks on my back as proof! And trust me: the usual boring road trip suddenly ain’t so boring anymore! And of course we’ve had to go through each and every known position we’ve done and tried with We-Vibe II. – You know, just to compare… See, told you we’ve been busy *cough*

The way the toy so softly hugs, perfectly, the two most ideal places on the female anatomy – when it comes to sexual pleasure, at least – is pretty close to scary wild. If I should have one critique, and I must, then it would be a way to scale the vibration. – To get just the right one for you. Maybe even scale them independently, as some women might not like full throttle on either clit or G-spot, but would be fine – or even love it – on the other. Of course, mentioning this to my Other Half and she looked at me as if I’d suddenly lost every shred of intelligence in my body. – So maybe it’s just the guys that might be in for some ‘training’ in restraint and control, because dude; this one will rumble your member into orgasmic oblivion if you let it.

Cleaning of We-Vibe 3 is immensely easy: warm water and a good anti-bacterial soap, finish off with a good sex toy cleaner spray – or alcohol wipe, and it’s good as new.

Now, I love how they set about making a product like this; totally hypoallergenic and body-safe, without harmful chemicals, toxins, phthalates – or anything else from that whole joyful pile of crap many manufactures still feel “obligated” to use in sex toys – in the process. Just really really brilliant!

But then, how brilliant is Randy itself you ask? Well, if you can handle him you’ll be on cloud nine, – if you can’t, you’ll probably want to try making a go at it anyway… I, to my deep sorrow, unhappiness and dismay cannot. Trust me; I’ve tried. I can get him in, sure. – Does it feel good? Not, so much. He is simply too girthy for me right now. – Something I intend soon to be remedied!

My Other Half on the other hand… Well, let me give you the lay of the land, so to speak.

Randy, being a whopping 7” in circumference – yes, that’s 2¼” in diameter – is not actually all that long. Well, 6¾”, but we’ve seen quite a few toys longer. 5½” of those are insertable, so you’ll be stretched and – from what my Other Half screams in delight – *blipping* full, but he won’t kill your uterus in the proces… These measurements are my own, and seem to vary slightly from a few sites I’ve seen; listing Randy at ‘only’ 2⅛” in diameter… He is, listed or not, 2¼”. Now to give you some sort of comparison; that’s more than my Other Half’s fist… Now granted, she’s a petite woman of 5 foot 3 inches, but still… So you see; Randy is a big boy. Short maybe. Small no!

And he’s HEAVY! When Randy arrived, my first thought was, “Damn! This thing is HUGE!” – And it is. The next was, “Damn, this thing is HEAVY!”. Yep, I remember it perfectly… Randy weighs a full pound. But seriously, if you can get him in there, you’ll probably feel so good he could weigh a ton for all you care. Now my third thought? “Oh, shit. Randy comes in the standard Vixen Creations tube – which I love. But getting him out was kind of a challenge; because the base of Randy is pretty much the exact same size as the tube, and with the curve pressing him against the tube as well… Yeah, he’s a tight squeeze all right. It took a little pulling, but I finally got him out. – If you take both end-caps off, it’ll be a little easier. Ours being the vanilla color, but there are caramel and chocolate to choose from as well. The vanilla actually compliments our skin tone pretty close. It’s a pretty nice looking toy. And though the VixSkin head is soft and delightfully squishy, the firmer core of the body – pressing him up in a curve – makes it an implausibility if Randy doesn’t take immidiate possession of your G-spot. – He is simply so girthy that your G-spot can’t hide!

-At least, my Other Half seems to think so, and in this I’d have to agree. We’re back visiting one of the manufacturers we just love to get it on with. You see; Fun Factory has over the last decade or so shown – from day one – that they are here to stay, and here to show the rest of the industry just how it’s done! If you don’t believe that, just try and read some of the other Fun Factory reviews here one Toys in Love – or go nuts in review after review on the Net – praising one Fun Factory vibrator after the other to kingdom come and back… You back? Cool. – Let’s get it on then!

As a rule, Fun Factory ships their toys in very discreet boxes. You won’t see anything here that might reveal the sexy contents, and the toys are always nicely protected by packing material inside.

So the toy we’re going to take a look at? Well, it’s actually one in a line of six – rather new – vibrators called G4. – As in Generation 4. We’re so crazy about the damn things that we’ve already reviewed four of them here on Toys in Love (1, 2, 3, 4); this new Elegance G4 will be the fifth. – Guess it’s pretty obvious we love these toys? Hehe… Yeah, these toys are bloody awesome!

Now, inside the shipping box, we find one of Fun Factory’s usual toy boxes. I suppose they’re becoming more a trademark than anything; because in some form or another – depending on the toy – if you pass one, you’ll instantly recognize them as being Fun Factory. And as far as the G4 vibes go; the only difference so far has been the form-molded blister-packs protecting the G4 vibrators themselves. – The rest: the lube samples, the instruction manuals, warranties, – all within this outer hard box of cardboard, has been identical. – Which is not a bad thing when it’s all pretty neat. – You DO see the vibrator through the front’s window, – but it’s not like it screams: LOOK AT ME: I’M A VIBRATOR!! – As we see some companies do. The back of the box reveals a ‘door’, which is held in place by a small magnet. – Behind this is a wealth of information about the toy inself. It’s a really cool box, though not so handy as a storage option. – It simply takes too long to get to your vibe when you’re all horny and worked up…

So, all this cardboard and what not out of the bloody way, and my new treasure was finally in my hands. – Well that’s how I looked at it anyway. The rest of the line have all been bloody marvelous pieces of German engineering, not to mention some of the best vibrators we have, so yeah, I was pretty stoked at this point! The Elegence G4 we got is the “Blackberry” color, the other option being “Candy Green”. Both are pretty neat, but I can definitely speak to the blackberry being quite fetching. – Sort of a nice purple’ish color…

And it’s also quite big! Well, not overly so, but it’s not a small tiny thing, if you get my drift. From top to bottom, the Elegance is about 8½” long and has a circumference of… well, depending on where you measure, I’d say approx. 5½”. – Which sounds a bit vague, I know. – But the cross section shape is kind of a funny oval. It has this slightly raised ridge – that swirls from one side of the back, to the other side of the tip along the back, and then continues around the vibrator in a curved line across the front. – Get my drift on the approximation measurements? Yeah, funny looking thing. – But also quite beautiful in shape. I really dig how foreign it looks, and yet still it retains that look of being a tantalizing vibrator intent on rocking your *blipping* world to high heavens and beyond!

The catch phrase for these G4 vibrators, is “Loop of Love”, of course drawing attention to the handle of these vibes. – Which is quite frankly ingenious. – Not the phrase (though, that too), but the handle. Gone are the slippery/impossible/fumbling/swearing and cursing during your ‘me time’, and instead replaced with a secure hold, no matter how damn slippery your fingers might be. It’s also here on the handle you find all the controls, and here you place the magnetic “Click ‘N’ Charge” recharger, when it’s time to replenish Elegance’s energi.

After the initial charge, I tested the speed and patterns. – Found them to be similar to the other G4 vibes: from feather light kisses to very powerful and very deep vibrations. On the face of the Loop of Love casing, there are three buttons. A plus, a minus, and an asterisk. The steady vibrations will increase or decrease incrementally if you choose to continue to press the button for every level. If you press the plus button and hold it down the speed will increase gracefully and smoothly to the maximum speed. The asterisk will change through the patterns. The buttons light up with activity. And quite frankly; I still have no clue as to how this Magic Touch technology cause the buttons to activate and glow, but it’s still pretty damn cool!

The motor extends about 3½” inches or so into the medical-grade silicone part of the toy. – The last three inches of Elegance appear to be all silicone. These last 3” are also quite bendable, yet oddly still firm enough to put decent pressure on all the right spots inside. The very tip of the Elegance also comes to more of a point than most other vibrators I’ve tested… – The silicone though, is so soft and scrumptious that we’re not talking about some unplesant poking sensation during use. Yet it’s enough so that my Other Half – who’s crazy about cervix massage – loves the extra attention Elegance will give her. And speaking of my Other Half: you guys know about her alleged mermaid ancestry? Yeah, Elegance is completely waterproof, which made her squeal like a little schoolgirl and run for the tub as soon as I was done testing speeds and patterns and what not – leaving me all by my lonesome… I have a hard life… *cough*

I’ve since gotten my revenge of course, what kind of guy do you think I am? Okay, forget that… But I’ve had the honor/pleasure of rocking her world like… well, let me put it this way; You guys remember me reviewing the Throe, right? Yeah that. – Well with a few forced restrained orgasms (those where you tell your partner not to come yet, not yet, not yet, not yet, NOW!), I’ve had that throe so flooded, from her squirting cum, that it’s been like swimming between her legs! But if you are: holy *blip!* The way this soft pattern around the vibe plays with your sphincter, the way it stretches you, and the way those strong vibrations will set your prostate into overdrive… Elegance is absolutely on par with the rest of the G4 vibes I’ve reviewed so far!

Now, being completely waterproof, medical-grade silicone and ABS, all you need is warm water and a good anti-bacterial soap to clean and maintain Elegance. I usually finish this cleaning off with a good sex toy cleaner spray – or alcohol wipe, but that’s just me.

We owe Fun Factory huge thanks and love hugs – and probably love cookies as well – for letting us give our input on the Elegance G4. It’s a vibrator I’d be daft not to recommend. Fun Factory ships worldwide, so seriously: do yourself a favor…
